Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Keplar Apps website at keplarapps.com and our software products, including Guide Maker Pro. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Our Services

Keplar Apps provides software tools for creating training and documentation guides. Guide Maker Pro is offered as an Individual subscription for personal or single-user use, and as a Team subscription for organizations that need domain-based licensing and company branding features.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it.

Team subscriptions may only be purchased by a user whose sign-in email address belongs to the company domain being licensed (for example, purchasing a license for acme.com requires an email address ending in @acme.com). The purchaser becomes the domain administrator for that license unless otherwise assigned by Keplar Apps.

Guide Maker Pro limits each user account to two active device installations to prevent unauthorized account sharing.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe at the prices shown on our store at the time of purchase. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel.

Individual plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Team plans are billed monthly based on the seat tier you select. Applicable taxes may be added where required by law.

We may change subscription prices for future billing periods. If a price change applies to your subscription, we will provide reasonable notice before it takes effect.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that period ends, your subscription will not renew and paid access will end unless you subscribe again.

For Team subscriptions, cancellation affects the domain license associated with your company domain. When the subscription ends, users under that domain license will no longer receive Team or Pro access through that license.

5. Refunds

All subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not provide partial refunds or credits for unused time, downgrades, or mid-cycle cancellations. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@keplarapps.com before disputing the charge with your bank or card issuer.

6. Team and Domain Licenses

A Team subscription grants access to users whose email addresses match the licensed company domain, up to the seat limit for the tier purchased. The domain administrator may manage company branding settings, including logo and markup defaults, for users covered by that license.

You may not resell, sublicense, or share a Team license outside your organization. You are responsible for ensuring that only authorized employees or contractors use your licensed domain.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to bypass license limits, device limits, or security controls.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or resell our software except as expressly permitted.
  • Upload or distribute content that infringes the rights of others.
  • Interfere with or disrupt our website, servers, or other users.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

8. Your Content

Guide Maker Pro stores your screenshots, guides, and related content locally on your device. You retain ownership of your content. You are solely responsible for the content you create and export using our tools.

9. Intellectual Property

Keplar Apps, Guide Maker Pro, our website, branding, and underlying software are owned by Keplar Apps and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in our services.

10. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keplar Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
